Description:
Searchable database. In any case, result will be list of inns with links to more detailed page; many will have thumbnail pictures. From home page select either:
State from map or list, then can use region map (not detailed) or drop-down list of cities to narrow selections; this page also has option for complete list of lodgings in that state.
'Lodging Finder' allows you to pick a combination of type of lodging, amenities, prices in a specific state, city, or region-wide. Can choose to use, ignore, or require each of several criteria; multiple selections possible in many areas. Gies exact match listings first, then those that match one or more criteria. Also has keyword search.
Quality Assurance:
This is a trade association that does not inspect members. However, some inns do list 'inspected by' info.
Other:
Some thumbnail pictures have extremely large file size (up to 130kb) due to improper resizing; this makes many pages load quite slowly (resommend initial browsing with grahics turned off). Has on-line reservations for about 19 properties. Has regional info page and tourist agency phones.
