Listing Type/Number:

Approx. 12,000 with with contact plus policies and limited amenities and activities. About 1700 have detailed pages with pictures and/or hotlinks to Inn's own pages (indicated on lists); may include a substantial number of non-B&B properties (hotels, etc.). Some inn data may be highly outdated.

Type & Description:

Data base (search engine): From home page, can select Quick Search or pick a country/world region or Advanced Search:

Quick Search allows choice of country, state, inn name or 50 mile radius of selected cities; city radius search crosses state lines.
Selecting United States gives a map and a list of states. Selecting a state gives a list of inns, with more detailed listed first, all groups alpha by inn name. Can further filter this search by selecting a city from a drop down list and adding certain features/activities including pets, handicap accessible, gluten free, golf, skiing, beaches & specials.
Advanced search allows larger city radius search, phone number or zip code, or by partial inn name.

Result is list of inns meeting criteria, with highest-paying client inns first, then rest alpha by city/inn name.

Quality Assurance:

Search criteria does not include affiliations or inspected status, but does have a list of approved inspection programs. Some Inns have listed such in their descriptions.

Other:

Some inns have Worldres on-line reservations, some may have availability calendar or link to other system. Has state association list and other links. Extremely slow on dial-up due to extensive script usage.

Innkeeper Info: Promotion: Individualized keywords on inn page. Rates: $30/yr for basic contact, 1 picture and link; $60/year for photo, short description & link; additional levels with more detail, availability and higher placement range up to $360. Innkeeper updatable. Contact: (613)394-0104, email using form at site. Comments: Has Google® ads on inn pages.
